About Autumn

Autumn is building the AI operating system for independent hotels. Today, hotels run across fragmented legacy software, agencies, spreadsheets, and manual workflows. We're building an AI-native platform that understands the business, makes decisions, and executes work—giving independent hotels capabilities that previously required entire teams.

We raised the largest seed round in hospitality tech, led by Bessemer Venture Partners. We're building a small, exceptional team in person in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, with substantial ownership and the opportunity to shape a company from its earliest stages.

The opportunity

We're looking for an entrepreneurial marketer to build how independent hotels discover, understand, and choose Autumn. You'll lead marketing and partnerships, reporting directly to our Founder & CEO.

This is a hands-on role with broad ownership. You'll shape our story, create work that gets attention, build relationships that open distribution, and turn promising ideas into repeatable sources of qualified demand. You should be as comfortable writing a great landing page or launching a creative campaign as you are negotiating a partnership and evaluating its results.

What you'll do

  • Build Autumn's marketing and partnerships function from the ground up, setting priorities and executing the work yourself.
  • Get close to hotel owners and understand how they discover software, whom they trust, what motivates them to act, and what holds them back.
  • Sharpen our positioning and messaging so customers understand both the immediate value of Autumn and the larger vision we're building toward.
  • Create compelling content and campaigns across our website, email, social channels, customer stories, and other relevant formats.
  • Develop distribution partnerships with organizations and businesses that already reach independent hotels. Identify the right partners, build relationships, launch initiatives, and measure results.
  • Build community and word of mouth through useful resources, customer advocacy, referrals, events, and creative initiatives.
  • Run focused acquisition experiments, identify what brings in high-quality prospects, and scale the approaches that work.
  • Work closely with Sales to turn attention into qualified conversations and customers, using prospect objections and sales feedback to improve marketing.
  • Partner with Product and Customer Success on launches and customer stories that make our value tangible.
  • Use AI and automation to increase the speed and quality of execution. Track qualified pipeline, conversion, acquisition efficiency, and revenue contribution.

Who you are

  • You've helped grow an early-stage or fast-growing technology company and can show clear examples of initiatives you personally owned and the results they produced.
  • You're a broad, entrepreneurial marketer who can connect brand, content, partnerships, community, and acquisition into a coherent growth strategy.
  • You're an excellent writer and storyteller with strong creative judgment. You know how to make a complex product feel clear, relevant, and compelling.
  • You're highly resourceful and comfortable starting with a blank page. You spot opportunities, make things happen, and learn quickly.
  • You can build relationships and translate them into partnerships that create measurable value.
  • You're analytical and commercially minded. You care about the quality of demand and its contribution to growth, and you can decide what to stop as readily as what to scale.
  • You're a hands-on executor who can move from an idea to a launched campaign with a small team and limited resources.
  • You're curious about independent hotels and willing to learn their world deeply. Hospitality experience is helpful, but strong startup execution and customer understanding matter most.

What success looks like

More of the right hotel owners discover Autumn, understand why it matters, and become customers. You establish repeatable sources of qualified demand, build partnerships that produce results, and create a distinctive brand that customers remember and recommend.

Why join

Build the marketing voice and distribution of a company creating a new category in hospitality. You'll work directly with the founder, own a key function from the beginning, and have room to shape both our growth strategy and how we execute it.
