About Autumn
Autumn makes best-in-class digital marketing accessible to independent hotels, B&Bs, resorts, and more. We're passionate about supporting this underserved segment of hoteliers so these unique properties can continue to thrive for generations to come.
We're founded by repeat entrepreneurs with deep hotel experience and backed by Tier 1 venture capital firms, having raised the largest seed round in hotel tech history. We're a tight-knit team based in New York City, working in-person out of our waterfront office in Williamsburg. We're currently in stealth and will share more live.
The Role
Autumn is hiring a Sales & GTM Associate to be the connective tissue between a hotelier's first flicker of interest and a real conversation with our team. You'll own follow-up with warm, interested owners — re-engaging them thoughtfully across email, phone, and text — and get them onto the calendar with the people who run our sales calls.
This role is ideal for someone exceptionally organized and personable, who loves staying close to the customer, and is energized by hands-on execution with the latest AI technology that lets our early-stage team move at an accelerated pace.
As one of our first dedicated sales hires, you'll help shape what the Sales and GTM functions at Autumn become — and this role will include meaningful elements of go-to-market engineering from the start. You'll not only follow up with hoteliers; you'll help build and improve the systems that find, enrich, sequence, and convert the right properties at scale, using tools like Clay, Email Bison, Claude Code, and Cowork.
What You'll Do
- Own follow-up on warm, interested hoteliers — re-engage owners who've raised their hand, across email, phone, and text, on the right cadence so no interested hotel goes cold.
- Book and confirm meetings for our closers — get interested owners onto the calendar and make sure the team walks in with the context they need.
- Ramp into net-new outbound — you'll start on warm follow-up and grow into sourcing and opening new hotel conversations yourself.
- Take ownership of the systems behind your outreach — the tooling that powers our enrichment, sequencing, and CRM. You won't just work a list someone hands you; you'll help run and improve the machine, and evolve it as we grow.
- Build GTM workflows with modern tools — use Clay to enrich and segment hotel prospects, Email Bison to support outbound infrastructure and sequencing, and AI coding tools like Claude Code and Cowork to build lightweight automations, internal tools, and repeatable workflows.
- Partner closely with the team to sharpen messaging, learn from what hoteliers tell you, and feed patterns back into how we sell.
What We're Looking For
- 0–2 years in a customer-facing, sales, or outreach role — this can be your first "real" sales job.
- Exceptional organization and follow-through: you follow up on time, every time, and nothing slips through the cracks.
- A warm, clear communicator by email and on the phone — you build rapport quickly and you're comfortable picking up the phone.
- A natural, independent learner who enjoys getting up to speed on new tools and workflows and running with them.
- A builder's instinct: you're drawn to improving the systems and tools you work in, not just executing a set process.
- Genuinely energized by AI and GTM tooling: you like reaching for the latest AI, automation, and outbound tools to work faster, and you're comfortable in a stack that evolves quickly.
- Curious about GTM engineering: you're excited to learn tools like Clay, Email Bison, Claude Code, and Cowork, and to use them to build better prospecting, enrichment, and follow-up systems.
- Reliable and self-directed: detail-oriented, accountable for outcomes, and comfortable with a good degree of autonomy.
- Resilient and persistent: you keep momentum going through follow-ups and the occasional "not right now."
What This Role Is Not
- A closing role (yet). Our closers run the final sales conversation; you set them up to win. This is the natural on-ramp to closing as you grow.
- Heads-down data entry. You're on the phone and in inboxes building real momentum — CRM hygiene is a means to that, not the job itself.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Hospitality experience (independent hotels, short-term rentals, or selling into hospitality).
- Familiarity with a CRM or modern sales/outbound tooling.
- Comfort with automation, no-code, or data tooling — or the eagerness to learn it fast.
- Early-stage or 0-to-1 startup experience.
- Spanish fluency a strong plus.
What We Offer
- $80K–$160K OTE and equity
- Beautiful private office in Williamsburg, New York
- Stipend for lunch and fitness, and top-tier medical, dental, and vision insurance
- A front-row seat to building an AI-native vertical SaaS company
- A clear path to grow into a closing (Account Executive) or Special Projects role as you build skills and experience
- Real exposure to top venture-backed startup operation
If you're excited about hotels, love building relationships, and enjoy rolling up your sleeves, we'd love to hear from you.
